How to Train your Dragon by SkipperSara How to Train your Dragon by SkipperSara
The best character from one of my favorite movies- Toothless the dragon! He was made with sculpey polymer clay and I used clear nail polish to give the fish a slimy look:)

This was such a cute film and I love your Toothless sculpt, I might have to make one myself but I hate working with black clay D:

Thank you very much!! I'm not a fan of black clay either because once it's on your fingers it gets on EVERYTHING! So for toothless I mixed evenly between black and blue and the color is less harsh I think!

Yeah tell me about it. I try to avoid using it, but at the moment I usually use Super sculpey and paint it afterward anyway.
Ah, awesome! it looks very pretty :B

One of the best animated movies of recent memory.
It also holds the distinction of being the first movie I bought on blu ray...
...it should have won the Oscar for animated film too,
but sadly Pixar had to make Toy Story 3 that year.

Anyway you did a great job on this.
You really capture the spirit of the character...
...I would love to see a version with his chompers showing though.
take care...drive safely

Yeah I believe I've heard mention of a sequel, although I don't remember the details. Hey if you like How to Train your Dragon I recommend 'The Secret of Kells'. It's an Irish animated film full of charm and character. It's got fantastic music too! I could see you sculpting a lot of those characters as well...especially the cat.
